StickBo is a side scrolling 3rd person shooter that offers exciting gameplay and stunning graphics. With its unlimited waves and destructible environments, including the jungles of Vietnam and the sand dunes of Afghanistan, you'll find yourself fully engaged in the action. One unique feature of StickBo is the in-app music player, allowing you to listen to your own iPod music library while playing.

The recent V1.9 update of StickBo introduces a Halloween theme and Halloween costumes, adding a festive touch to the game. It's great to see the developers actively responding to player feedback and continuously improving the game.

StickBo is much more than a mindless run-and-gun shooter. The cover system adds a layer of strategy to the gameplay, making it necessary to employ tactics to survive each wave. Depending on your performance, you can earn various awards such as The Medal of Honor (for completing a wave with over 90% health), a Service Medal (for completing a wave with over 50% health), or even a Purple Heart.

The wave-based auto-save feature in StickBo ensures that you can easily pick up where you left off, whether you have only a few minutes or several hours to play. Additionally, the wave selection option allows you to start the game from any wave you have previously completed, adding an extra level of customization to your gameplay experience.

In terms of weapons, StickBo offers a diverse selection to choose from. Starting with the default M16, which provides accuracy and a 3-shot burst, you can later unlock powerful weapons such as the AK-47, frag grenades, shotgun, 50 Cal. Sniper Rifle, flamethrower, and even a mini-gun. Each weapon has its own unique abilities, allowing you to experiment and find your preferred playstyle.

In the free version of StickBo, you can enjoy the Vietnam Jungle Theme, play as the StickBo character, and play up to Wave 21. However, if you want more, the full version offers unlimited waves, the Afghanistan Dunes Theme, and additional characters like ChickBo and MulletBo. There is also a Late Night Upgrade available that includes a Late Night Theme and special characters such as CoCoBo (Conan O'Brien), JayBo (Jay Leno), and SWATBo.
